Klu Klux Klanacillin

I have another infection in my chest line. Actually it's probably the original infection just flared up again. I'm on Flucloxacillin, 500 mg 4 times a day plus the IV Vancomycin that I get at the dialysis centre.

Supposedly I should take it on an empty stomach, half to one hour before food. This is proving to be something of a problem since the phosphate binders I take with meals (Phosex) tell me to wait 2 hours after taking antibiotics before taking them. Quite the conundrum.

The Fluclox is also having the usual undesired effect on my digestive tract and I'm visiting the loo with McKeithian regularity ... with any luck I'll weigh-in at my dry weight tomorrow.
